Enhanced Functionality of Do Not Disclose Rates Flag

Stay is enhanced to provide users with greater control over the visibility of player and comp rates to guests based on the Do Not Disclose Rates configuration at the rate plan level and reservation date.

Previously, when the Do Not Disclose Rates flag was enabled for either the player or comp rates, the rates were not displayed for any reservation dates.

Now, when the Do Not Disclose Rates flag is enabled for a rate plan, the rate amount will not be displayed to the guest only for the applicable reservation dates associated with the rate plan. Rates will be evaluated per reservation date, based on the rate plan applied for that date and the corresponding Do Not Disclose Rates configuration.

Reservations with Multiple Rate Plans

A date-wise rate visibility is provided when reservations span across multiple player and comp rate plans, ensuring accurate guest-facing disclosure based on the Do Not Disclose Rates configuration.

For example, consider a reservation booked from November 5, 2026, to November 8, 2026, using a player rate plan, CA6, which has the BAR rate plan associated as the comp rate plan.

Scenario 1

When the Do Not Disclose Rates flag is disabled for both the player and comp rate plans, the rates will be displayed as per the existing functionality.

Scenario 2

When the Do Not Disclose Rates flag is enabled for the player rate plan but disabled for the comp rate plan:

  • Rates are displayed with the Do Not Disclose Rates label for dates booked using the CA6 rate plan.

  • Rates are displayed normally for the dates booked using the BAR rate plan.

  • Average room rate and nightly charges will not be displayed when either of the rate plans have the flag enabled.

Scenario 3

When the Do Not Disclose Rates flag is enabled for both the player and comp rate plans, rates are not displayed for any dates and the Do Not Disclose Rates label is displayed across all applicable areas.

Scenario 4

When the Do Not Disclose Rates flag is disabled for the player rate plan but enabled for the comp rate plan:

  • Rates are displayed with the Do Not Disclose Rates label for dates booked using the BAR rate plan.

  • Rates are displayed normally for the dates booked using the CA6 rate plan.

  • Average room rate and nightly charges will not be displayed when either of the rate plans have the flag enabled.

For reservations booked using multiple rate plans, the Do Not Disclose Rates indicator will be displayed in the reservation print and email as follows:

Print Folio Behaviour

When the reservation folios are printed, rates are displayed only when the Do Not Disclose Rates flag is disabled for both the player and comp rates. When the flag is enabled for either the player or comp rates, the rates will continue to be displayed.

When the flag is enabled for the rate plan or from the Estimated Charges section, a hyphen (-) is displayed in the printed folio instead of the actual charges.

ADM Print Templates

When the Do Not Disclose Rates flag is enabled at the rate plan level or at the Estimated Charges section, the ADM print templates will not display the actual charges. The value, Comp, will be displayed even when the flag is enabled for both the player and comp rates. When the flag is enabled for either of the two rates, the rates will continue to be displayed.

The following fields in the template will display the value Comp when the flag is enabled:

  • Room Rate - Only Tax

  • Room Rate - With Tax

  • Room Rate - Without Tax

  • Average Nightly Room Charge - Only Tax

  • Average Nightly Room Charge - With Tax

  • Average Nightly Charge - Without Tax

  • Total Nightly Room Charge - Only Tax

  • Total Nightly Room Charge - Without Tax

  • Any Recurring Charge - Only Tax

  • Any Recurring Charge - With Tax

  • Any Recurring Charge - Without Tax

  • Estimated Room Rate

  • Estimated Taxes

  • Estimated Total - Only Tax
